Christine Celeste Maslonek Eckels
Christine Celeste Maslonek Eckels, 78 years old, of Bethel Park, formerly of Cecil, died Saturday, January 26, 2019, in her home.
She was born January 11, 1941, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Thomas and Matilda Celar Maslonek.
She enjoyed cooking and canning, camping, and crocheting. She liked spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs.
She worked as a clerk for Hills Department Store, Heidelberg.
Surviving are daughter, Karen (Thomas) Kramer of Bethel Park; grandchildren Emily, Logan and Kelton Kramer of Bethel Park; four brothers, Tim (wife Gail deceased) Maslonek of Tampa, Fla., Francis (Dottie) Maslonek of Cecil and Adrian Maslonek and Eugene (Rita) Maslonek, both of Bridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eckels in 2015, and son Robert Samuel Eckels in 1986.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Route 50), Cecil, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 30.
Interment will follow in Venice Cemetery.
