Donald W. Cox passed away at 4:07 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, in Washington Hospital, with his loving companion, Sandra Skolyak, by his side.

Donald was born November 27, 1937, to the late Thomas and Lucy Cox. On August 26, 1959, he married the late Bonnie May Curry.

Donald attended Trinity High School. He took amazing pride and joy in attending his granddaughters softball games and tournaments. He loved to play dartball as well as go to Wild Things baseball games. When he was not enjoying sports, he would spend his time at The Meadows.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Paul and Thomas Cox.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, William Curry; two sisters, Shirley Craig and Carol Sharp; three daughters, Penny Cox, Kimberly Gray and Dawn Cox; five granddaughters, Brandy Delfine, Leighann Harps, Danielle Harps-Conrad (Jay), Jerika Lopez and Alexandria Wagner; and three great-grandchildren, Justice Harps, Tiara Popp and Adilyn Conrad.

At the request of the deceased, Mr. Cox wishes not to have any public services. Unfortunately, at the time of his demise, he did not hold life insurance.
