Ruth V. Logan Yucha, 83, of Waynesburg, formerly of Mt. Morris, died at 6 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, at home.

She was born Sunday, August 18, 1935, in Granville, W.Va., a daughter of the late John Logan and Margaret Thomas Logan.

Mrs. Yucha enjoyed bingo and playing slots. She worked for several years as a clerk at Tony’s Supermarket in Mt. Morris. She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Steve J. “Cateye” or “Booze” Yucha, whom she married July 3, 1952, died July 6, 2013.

Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Steve and her husband John of Waynesburg and Mary Greathouse and her husband Dennis of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Paul Yucha, at home, and John Yucha and his wife Trina of Morgantown, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased are a son, Thomas J. Yucha; two sisters, Peggy Berry and Betty Stiefvater; and three brothers, William Logan, Robert Logan and John Logan.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, with Pastor Raymond Morris officiating. Burial will be in Fairview-Kiger Cemetery, Whiteley Township, Greene County.
