Mary E. Deems
Mary E. “Bunny” Deems, 71, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born March 28, 1948, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Henry A. and Martha J. Hepner Kiefer.
Mary was self-employed as a personal attendant doing private care work for many years.
She attended Calvary Chapel and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post #391 Fredericktown.
Mary enjoyed crocheting, bingo, yard sales and watching Westerns on TV. She especially enjoyed Conway Twitty and Randy Travis.
Surviving are three sons, Ronald A. Jenkins (Shirley Jane) of Knightdale, N.C., Kevin L. Deems (Kristi) of Salineville, Ohio, and Phillip L. Deems (Diana) of Crucible; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kathy M. Fleming of Fredericktown, Angela F. Travis (Paul) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Maleah R. Kiefer of Fredericktown; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a brother, John L. Kiefer.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, in Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, PA 15333, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, with Pastor John Thomas officiating.
