Doris Gregg Winnett

Doris Gregg Winnett, 92, of East Liverpool, Ohio, formerly of Fredericktown, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in East Liverpool Hospital.

She was born December 30, 1926, in Washington County, a daughter of the late Jacob R. and Harriet Culler Gregg.

Mrs. Winnett was a lifelong member of Beallsville United Methodist Church and a member of the Beallsville Civic Center.

She enjoyed canning, making jellies, baking cookies and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her cat, Roley.

Surviving are a son, Kevin D. Winnett (Paula) of East Liverpool; three grandchildren, Amanda Phillips and Olivia and Marcus McCellan; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Glenda Gottheld of Dry Tavern and Donna Corrick of Rices Landing; brother Jim Gregg of Roscoe; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Dale E. Winnett, who died September 22, 2003, and three brothers, Harry, Warren and Kenneth Gregg.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the time of service, Monday, June 17, in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA 15313, with the Rev. Gary Gregg officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery.
