Christopher Grosso
Christopher Grosso, 51, of Strabane, died Monday, June 24, 2019.
He was born January 9, 1968, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Jerry and Rose Ann Procacina Grosso.
Christopher graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1986 and furthered his education, graduating with a master’s degree from Radford University. During his working years, he was a writer for Wisdom Radio and also wrote training books for F.E.M.A.
He was a musician and enjoyed playing the guitar. He loved nature, the environment and trail riding.
Surviving are his brothers, Jerry A. (Michelle) Grosso Jr. of Venetia and Joseph (Andrea) Grosso of Pleasantville, and four nephews, Daniel (Marissa DePalma), Andrew, Chad (Erica) and Justin (Marissa) Grosso.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry A. Grosso Sr., and his mother, Rose Ann Procacina Grosso.
Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 5 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Wednesday, June 26, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to “Kindred Hospice,” 5315 Campbells Run Road, Suite 190m, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, in Christopher’s name.
