Michelle D. Fischer, 59, of Carmichaels, died Monday, June 24, 2019, in her home.

She was born August 21, 1959, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Dolores May Stoewhaas Murphy.

Michelle was a homemaker and at one time had attended the Christian Church of Carmichaels.

On August 21, 1977, she married Scott Fischer, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Wade (Andrew Webb) of Carmichaels and Janice Fischer of Carmichaels; two grandsons, Jessie Wade and Earl Frazier; two sisters, Fawn Lilley of Clarksville and Patty (Ron) Rose of Waynesburg; and two brothers, Herman Murphy of Clarksville and Edward (Rose) Murphy of Pittsburgh.

Deceased is a brother, Lee A. Murphy.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Friday, June 28, in Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. Dr. Donald P. Wilson officiating.
