Annetta E. Kiger, 71, of Rices Landing, Pa., passed away at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Donnell House, Washington, Pa.
She was born June 23, 1947 in Cumberland Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late Charles M. and Annie (Sloneker) Walker.
Annetta was a graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and retired as laundry foreman at the former SCI Waynesburg. She enjoyed going to the family camp in Marietta, Ohio, crossword puzzles, casinos, traveling and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and family.
On June 30, 1990, she married Donald C. Kiger, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert M. Blaker (Charlotte), and Earl E. Blaker, all of Carmichaels; a stepson, Scott Kiger (Kelly) of Waynesburg (Kirby); and grandchildren, Robert E. Blaker of Rices Landing, Jeffery I. Blaker of Carmichaels, and Jade Kiger and Elijah Kiger, both of Kirby; and her mother-in-law, Wilma Kiger, of Waynesburg.
In addition to her parents, Annetta was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles “Bud” Walker, Bill Walker, and Donald “Mousey” Walker; and her father-in-law, Ralph Kiger.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, PA, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12. Pastor P. Keith Larson will officiate. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park.
