Debra L. Burnfield

Debra “Debbie” L. Burnfield, 64, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Hope Hospice, Cape Coral.

She was born January 8, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of Paul W. (Rose) Kosey, Sr. and the late Mary Ann Iskey Kosey.

Debbie graduated in 1972 from Washington High School and also graduated from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.

She loved helping and rescuing animals, especially dogs, and was active in the Cape Coral K-9. She was involved in the 84 Baseball and 10 Mile Valley Association.

On June 23, 1979, she married Rick L. Burnfield, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, William “Ron” (Jill) Todd and Derrick (Jamie) Burnfield; brother Paul Kosey Jr.; two grandchildren, Brooke and Brycen Burnfield; uncles James Iskey and Chuck (Barb) Kosey; and aunt Trudy Kosey.

Deceased are son Nathan Michael Burnfield and uncle Ron Kosey.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19. Burial is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, P. O. Box 66, Eighty-Four, PA 15330.
