Joseph Cybak

Joseph Cybak, 71, of Carmichaels, died Thursday, May 9, 2019, in Uniontown Hospital.

Mr. Cybak was born June 19, 1947, a son of the late Joseph and Thelma Marie Bowser Cybak.

Also deceased are his wife, Kathleen “Kate” Skursha Cybak; brother, Ira “Skip” Cybak; and two sisters, Catherine Babyak and Betty Ann Cybak.

He is survived by his brothers-in-law, Andrew Babyak, Ed and Butch Skursha; a sister-in-law, Sandra Dunlap; several nieces and nephews; his caregiver, Peggy Thomas; and his good friends at the Saturday morning Democratic Club, Jimmy, Jolene, Bob, Wendy, Norma, Mickey, Buster and Mick.

Joe attended Penn State (Fayette) and graduated from Point Park University. He was a retired sales representative for Bell’s Wholesale Grocery of Mt. Morris.

He was a devoted member of First Christian Church of Carmichaels.

Mr. Cybak belonged to King Coal Association and Carmichaels Chamber of Commerce, where he was a past president.

Family and friends will be received in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Reagan Fike officiating.

Internment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church of Carmichaels.
