Christopher D. Avetta
Christopher D. Avetta, 47, of Weirton, W.Va., formerly of Avella, passed away Sunday morning, November 3, 2019, under the care of Valley Hospice in Steubenville, Ohio, after a valiant battle against cancer.
He was born April 2, 1972, in Washington, a son of David L. Avetta of Atlasburg and the late Marsha Gabrielli Avetta.
He was a graduate of Avella High School, earned a degree from Triangle Tech, and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was passionate about automobiles and boating, but especially loved spending time with his daughter.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his beloved daughter, Tallulah Avetta; his loving sister, Stephanie Galizia and husband Vincent of Canonsburg; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A blessing service to celebrate Christopher’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 9, in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021, with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating.
Interment will be held privately at a later date in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avella.
