Rozella Beegle, 90, of Canonsburg, died Monday, November 11, 2019, in her home.

She was born April 27, 1929, in Westland, a daughter of Harry and Alwilda Shober Atchison.

Mrs. Beegle was a 1948 graduate of Hickory High School.

She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Canonsburg, former president of both the Canonsburg and Chartiers Senior Centers, a member of the Red Hats Society and volunteered on the Election Committee.

Mrs. Beegle enjoyed playing dartball and Wii, doing crafts, spending time with her family and taking care of her turtle, Twobits.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Beegle.

Surviving are two daughters, Vicki Smith of Bellevue, Neb., and Ruthann Griffith of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, Ronette McAllister, Ginette Morrison, Tonya Doolittle, Natalie, David and Christopher Parra; 11 great-grandchildren, Amber, Ashly, Alex, Jake, Ryan, Charlie, Callie, Faith, Hayden, Gianna and Ryan; a sister, Nada Schwab (Warren) of Hickory; and many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Deceased are four sisters, Ivadean Mays, Marcella Frankovitch, Ruth Abruzzi and Twila Martin.

Friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, November 16, in Grace Baptist Church, 215 North Central Avenue, Canonsburg, with Pastor Bill Barnett officiating. Interment is private. Arrangements have been entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church.
