Michael Bieda
Michael Bieda, 91, of Washington, died Friday, November 15, 2019, in Transitions Healthcare, Washington.
He was born April 23, 1928, in Washington, a son of the late Michael and Josephine Ptak Bieda.
Michael was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Bieda worked as a steelworker for Molycorp, and was a member of First United Presbyterian Church.
Michael enjoyed polka music, country and western shows, movies on television, going to the casino, and playing cards.
On June 6, 1953, he married Mary Jane Crothers, who died June 1, 2010.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Cindy Bingham) Bieda of Venetia, and Donald (Buffie) Bieda of Cranberry Township; a daughter, Paula (the late Bill) Britt of Canonsburg; seven grandchildren, Caitlyn, Michaela, Brooke, Lindsey, Tiffany, Mikelyn and Paul; a great-granddaughter, Vivien; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Bruce Scott Bieda; three brothers, Joe, John and Carl; and four sisters, Mary, Caroline, Vi and Rose.
At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
