Judith Ann Anesetti
Judith Ann “Judi” Anesetti, 77, of Canonsburg, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, due to complications of surgery.
She was born October 5, 1942, in AuSable, N.Y., a daughter of the late Walter and Marjorie Marie Douglas Ashton.
Judi was a certified nursing aide and had been director of recreational activities at the Washington County Health Center and Manor Care in McMurray. She had also sold Avon products and enjoyed crafting.
Mrs. Anesetti devotedly traveled all over the United States while her husband, Ronald, was serving in the U.S. Air Force. While living in Canonsburg, she was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg. She loved animals, especially her cockatiel, Samantha “Sissy” and her daughter’s pug, Mojo, who brought her much joy.
On November 1, 1960, in Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, she married her beloved husband, Ronald Henry Anesetti, who passed away September 16, 2010, after 50 years of marriage.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Angela Anesetti of Canonsburg, Mark Anesetti (Christina) of Cecil Township and Matthew Anesetti of Washington; three grandchildren, Andrew Anesetti-Rothermel, Jennifer (Kevin) Anesetti-McCracken and Jessica Anesetti; and six great-grandchildren.
At the request of the deceased, a private Catholic blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 1, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, where she will be interred with her husband.
