Olive M. Martin
Olive M. Martin, 90, of Washington, died Monday, September 23, 2019, in her home.
She was born October 9, 1928, in Springhill Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late Carl and Edna Wright Moose.
Mrs. Martin graduated from Aleppo High School in 1946.
In addition to being a dedicated homemaker, she worked for various employers including, Louis Marx Toys, Harman’s Restaurant, Greenway Manufacturing, Bobbie Brooks and Imperial Cleaners.
She was a longtime member of Claysville United Methodist Church.
On April 8, 1950, in Aleppo, she married Robert D. Martin, who died July 8, 2017.
Surviving are a son, Barry A. Martin of Lawrence; and five grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley (Joseph Shape), Maxwell, Mackeyan and Kamden Martin.
Deceased are a brother, Beryl Moose; and a sister, Madeline Riffle.
Her kindness and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
