Walter Edward Markle Jr.
Walter Edward Markle Jr., 62, of Eighty Four, died Friday, July 31, 2020, in his home.
He was born October 21, 1957, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Walter and Shirley Sochor Markle.
Walter was a member of Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a self-employed painter for many years, and retired from Canonsburg General Hospital, where he worked in the housekeeping department. He enjoyed gardening, his dogs, discussing politics, and mostly spending time with his family.
On September 21, 1996, he married his loving wife, Jamie Neill Markle, who survives.
Also surviving are his brothers, Wayne (Pam) Markle, Wesley (Diane) Markle and William (Sydney) Markle; sisters Charmaine Alexander and Shirley Harris; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services will be private.
