Hazel Patricia Wolanski Cox
Hazel Patricia Wolanski Cox, 87, of Burgettstown, Hanover Township, passed away Thursday evening, August 13, 2020, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born March 17, 1933, in McKees Rocks, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Ezarik Wolanski.
Mrs. Wolanski enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, scratch offs (especially when she won), yard sales, flea markets and most of all spending time with her family.
Her husband, Donald Y. Cox, passed away June 17, 2010.
She is survived by her children, Alan Cox (the late Linda) of Hanover Township, Jeffrey Cox (the late Susan) of Burgettstown, Donald G. Cox (Barbara) of Burgettstown, Lori Beaudin (Alan) of Weirton, W.Va., and Lisa Cox of New York; grandchildren Patricia Abbott, Andrew Cox, Alan Lee Cox Jr., Shannan Cox, Stacy Alley, Theresa Magness, Randy Cox, Kasey Duran, Zoee Cook and Madison Cook; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Cox of Paris, Dolly Roy of Weirton, Dorothy Cox of Arizona, Irene Waitrak of Clinton and Susie Kiger of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are her son, Herman William Cox; a grandson, Donald Gene Cox II; and brothers Joe, Herman, Stephen, Tom, Bob and Phillip Wolanski.
Services will be held privately for her immediate family under the direction of the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
