Angelo Quaresima Jr.

Angelo “Butch” Quaresima Jr., 70, of Cecil Township, died Sunday, August 16, 2020, in an accident while doing his favorite thing, riding his John Deere Gator.

He was born August 11, 1950, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Angelo and Erma Bernardi Quaresima Sr.

He was a member of St. Oscar Romera Parish, Holy Rosary Church, Muse. He enjoyed riding his John Deere Gator all around and spoiling the nieces and nephews.

He worked as a steel burner for DBT in Houston, providing parts for longwall mining.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Diana Leech Quaresima of Cecil Township; three brothers, Robert “Crow” Quaresima, Dave Quaresima and Larry Quaresima, all of Cecil Township; a sister, Beverly Edgar of Baldwin-Whitehall; a sister-in-law, Kathy Quaresima of Cecil; a brother-in-law, Russ Leech of Indianapolis, Ind.; also several nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Ronald, John and a brother in infancy.

Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 21, in the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321, where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:20 a.m. Saturday, August 22, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 246 Muse-Bishop Road, Muse, with Father George DeVille officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 10 St. Mary Lane, Cecil.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church, 1 Orchard Street, P.O. Box 447, Muse, PA 15350.
