Kirk L. Armstrong
Kirk L. Armstrong, 64, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, November 29, 2020, in Washington Hospital.
He was born September 13, 1956, in Washington, a son of Matthew L. and Evelyn White Henney.
Kirk was Christian. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed shooting, fishing, and was a member of Canonsburg Sportsmen’s Club for several years. He also enjoyed watching science fiction movies.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a nursing assistant at the Washington County Health Center, and later worked security at Friendship Village.
On September 26, 1987, he married his wife, Frances Armstrong, who survives. Also surviving are his parents, Matthew L. Armstrong and Evelyn White Henney; his sons, David (Corrie) David of Lisbon, Ohio, Adam (fiancee Diamond Cuellar) Armstrong of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters Rachel (Jeff) Proctor of Canonsburg, Sarah (Jeremy Shook) Armstrong of Washington; grandchildren Emilee, David, Mason, Natalee, Amelia, Eloriana, Ryah Grace, Gemma, Seth, Zion, Benjamin, Sophia, James, Jayla, Kevin and Shelley; and his great-grandson, Nikolaus.
Kirk was preceded in death by his brother, Kent Armstrong; and his son, Keith Armstrong.
