William H. “Bill” Sutton, 83, of Waynesburg, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2020, in Washington Hospital in Washington.
He was born Friday, August 20, 1937, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Roy A. Sutton and Agnes Carhart Sutton.
Mr. Sutton was Baptist by faith. He was a veteran having served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his time in the service, where he learned carpentry that he used later in life, he learned how to do glass work. Bill enjoyed stamp collecting and had served as the local registrar for funeral directors for many years.
Surviving are three sons, Donald Sutton of Ohio, William R. Sutton of Gainesville, Fla., and Robert A. Sutton of Marion, Mich.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas A. Sutton of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is one son, Daniel L. Sutton.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
