Virgil Facchini, 80, of Bridgeville, formerly of McDonald, a police officer and an Army Infantry veteran, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020, after a courageous 10 year struggle with cancer.

Friends will be received in the Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home, 430 Washington Road, Bridgeville, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, where a Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. A military burial ceremony will follow in Melrose Cemetery. The nurses, aides and administrators at the Bridgeville Rehabilitation & Care Center are especially invited to attend for the care and compassion they all provided Virgil.
