Victor L. Barton, 70, of Houston, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in his home following an extended illness.

He was born January 2, 1950 in Waverly, N.Y., a son of Russell Barton and Joyce Lattimer Barton Preston.

Mr. Barton was a 1968 graduate of Waverly High School in N.Y.

He was a chef for his own catering business, Catering by Vic, as well as Cabaret West, and Ramada Inn in Washington, Stonecrab Inn in Washington and St. Clairsville, Ohio.

He enjoyed gardening and working on cars.

Surviving are four children, Jenifer Barton (Patrick Tongel) of Muse, Michael D. Barton (Tieri Manuelli) of Bethel Park, Joseph Saunders (Mandy) of Arkansas, and Hilliri Bleiler (Jim) of Florida; three sisters, Tamy Miller (Brian), Darlene Coleman (Jimmy), and Roxanne Draht (Mike), all of New York; a brother, Russ Barton (Cheryl Clark) of New York; the mother of Jenifer and Michael, Kathleen Barton of South Park; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are his stepfather, Marshall Preston; and a brother, Ted Barton.

At the request of the deceased, all services are private.
