Joseph R. Adamson
Joseph R. Adamson, 90, of McDonald, died Friday, December 25, 2020.
He was born May 1, 1930, in Canonsburg, a son of Joseph and Helen Anthony Adamson.
On September 1, 1951, he married Mary Mancini, who died November 16, 2011.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as maintenance supervisor at Western Area Vocational Technical School. Previous to that, he worked in sales.
Mr. Adamson was a 35-year member of the Canonsburg Fire Department. He enjoyed boating and also belonged to various social clubs in the area.
Surviving are his sons, Rob Adamson of Canonsburg, Mike (Nancy) Adamson of McMurray, David (Nancy) Adamson of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Matt, Jill, Laurel; and long time friend Elizabeth Kinser of McDonald.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Huber and Gertrude Adamson; and one brother, David Adamson.
