Roger Lee Barnhart, of Crabapple, departed this world for heaven Sunday, July 19, 2020.

He was born June 1, 1952, a son of the late Virginia Eileen Hewitt Barnhart and Harold Barnhardt.

Roger attended school in the West Greene School District.

He had many friends, especially those who liked hunting, and enjoyed helping them in pursuing and tracking wild game. He was an exceptional archer and rifleman and always bagged his legal limits and enjoyed meals from his many successful hunts.

Roger will be remembered for his wisdom and knowledge of wild game tactics and habitat, and his many stories of Greene County and the surrounding area.

Friends of Roger will be given the opportunity to pay their final respects from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724-941-3211).

All public gatherings should not exceed more than 25 guests at a time and masks or facial coverings are required when entering our facilities; we are obligated to protect the health and safety of all.
