John S. Carbone, 75, of Daisytown, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020, in his home.
He was born August 25, 1945, in Monongahela, a son of the late Tony and Ruth Bailey Carbone.
Mr. Carbone was employed with Penn-Rillton in West Elizabeth for over 41 years and was also a self-employed farmer.
John was a hard worker and was passionate about his Christian faith. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed hunting. His greatest joy was his granddaughter.
Surviving are his son-in-law, Joseph Volcheck; and granddaughter, Brendie Volcheck, both of Daisytown; one brother, Andy Carbone of Ellsworth; one sister, Patty Wilson of West Carlton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Brenda Maslo Carbone, who died January 4, 2012; a daughter, Barbara “Barbie” Carbone Volcheck; and a sister, Mary Mitchell.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, October 14, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, with Pastor Adam Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
