Gwendolyn D. Duesenberry
Gwendolyn D. Duesenberry, 62, of Burgettstown, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born April 29, 1958, a daughter of Myrna Prevost Pratt of McKees Rocks and Thomas Chappell of Burgettstown.
She is survived by her four children, Jason Kretzler of McKees Rocks, Elizabeth Toward Orgovan and husband Hughie of Burgettstown, April Cawthon and husband Paul of North Carolina, and Jessica Toward of Glassport; her companion of 11 years, Michael Speer of Burgettstown, with whom she made her home; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers Scott Chappell and wife Geraldine of Bentleyville, James W. Pratt Jr. and wife Donna of McKees Rocks, Leslie Pratt of McKees Rocks, Mike Pratt and wife Patty of Ross Township, and William Pratt of Southview; a sister, Kate Wischmann and husband Larry of Imperial; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James W. Pratt Sr.; her husband, Roger Duesenberry (September 12, 2010); a brother, Tommy Chappell; and a sister, Rhonda Powers.
To honor Gwendolyn’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
