Mark Joseph Rothka
Mark Joseph Rothka, 25, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, September 19, 2020.
He was born April 18, 1995, in Washington. He is survived by his son, Titus Joseph Rothka.
Mark worked as a machine operator. He was Byzantine Catholic. He enjoyed fishing, art, cooking, grilling and imitating Jim Carey. He especially loved spending time with his son, who was his entire world.
Surviving, in addition to his son, are his sisters, Samantha Ellen (Jacob) Moore of Xenia, Ohio, Kerrigan Rothka of Monessen, Emily Renee Baria of Wytheville, Virginia, Annaleese Jayla Rush of Washington; his grandparents, Ronald G. and Mary Toplisek Rothka of Canonsburg, Robert Rush Sr. of Washington; his son’s mother, Erica Noordhuizen; his mother, Michelle Rush; his niece, Alaya Isabella Davis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Joseph Rothka; and his grandmother, Ruth Ann Rush.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Burial will follow the private family services in St. Michael Cemetery, Canonsburg.
