William David Myers Sr.
William David Myers Sr., 66, of Canonsburg passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 23, 2020, in the Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing, Canonsburg.
He was born September 5, 1954 in Gettysburg, a son of the late William Stonesifer and Dawn Leanna Logan Dovey of Biglerville.
Bill lived in Canonsburg most of his life and was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School, then served with the United States Army from 1976 until 1982 as a fueler. He enjoyed playing softball and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Marsha Myers and her fianc Mike Brown of Canonsburg and William David Myers Jr. of Irvine, Calif.; beloved grandchildren, Geovanni Myers, Lashylah Raineri, Shalyah Raineri, Brandon Raineri Jr, Ethan Myers and Jack Myers; his siblings, Joseph Myers Sr., Patricia Eyler, Rick Stonesifer, Ray Stonesifer Sr., Susan Gervasio, Jamie Copechal; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his father, is his brother Steve Stonesifer.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where services will be held at noon Monday, September 28, with Reverend Stephen Parkhill officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, with full Military Rites by the VFW Post 191 Honor Guard of Canonsburg and the United States Army.
