Calvin V. Staley
Calvin V. Staley, 82, of Richeyville died Thursday, April 1, 2021.
He was born September 8, 1938, a son of the late Jessie and Elizabeth Kovach Staley.
Mr. Staley was a 1957 graduate of California Area High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam era.
He had been employed by Joy Manufacturing as a motor test stand operator for many years before retiring in 2004 and also operated his own electronic repair business.
He enjoyed the outdoors and crossword puzzles, gameshows, and fixing things for his daughter.
On November 28, 1964, he married Laraine Kime Staley, who survives; together, they celebrated 57 years of marriage.
Also surviving are a daughter, Tina Renner (Rob) of Fredericktown; a son, Scott Staley of Monessen; a brother, George Staley (Dorothy) of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a granddaughter, Nicole Poling; and a great-granddaughter, Wrena Seese.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are three brothers, Donald, Frank and Louis Staley.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Interment will be at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
