Dawn Ann Provance Wright
Dawn Ann Provance Wright was born February 28, 1961. She walked this earth for 60 years and passed away in the early morning of Thursday, April 1, 2021. Dawn had a love for animals that knew no bounds. She volunteered countless hours at local animal shelters (Kitten Division & Loving Paws). She also fostered many animals herself and helped numerous pets find their forever homes. Her passion and love for animals will always live on in her grandson, Ryker, who shares in her love of creatures big and small.
In her youth, Dawn was a dancer. She attended Vella’s School of Dancing in Pennsylvania.
During her dance career she had the privilege of dancing with the Rockets. Her love of dance never waivered over the years and she passed that spirit onto her granddaughter, Winry.
Dawn was a beautiful and loving soul who never hesitated to help a friend and she would fight fiercely for those she loved and held dear. She was an incredibly strong woman and fought hard throughout the years with illness and will always be remembered as a fighter. Her loves and passions in life will endure through the loved ones she left behind; including her love of scratch off tickets; we hope they have some in Heaven just for her.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Wright; her daughter, Erica (Michael) Bernhardt and their two children, Dawn’s grandbabies, Ryker and Winry Bernhardt; her son, Joshua Wright; her brother, Darrell Provance; and numerous other extended family members. We all know she is at peace in Heaven with her father, Charles Provance; mother Martha “Jeannie” Provance; and her brother, Eric Provance. Rest in peace, Dawn knowing you were a wonderful wife, the best mother, a loving grandmother, and will never be forgotten.
