Samuel McKinley Wheeler, 61, of Washington, passed away to the arms of his Savior Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh.
He was born June 30, 1959, in Washington, a son of Lillian Wheeler of Washington and the late Samuel Wheeler.
Mr. Wheeler attended Washington High School and was a self-employed handyman. He attended Pathway to Christ Church, Washington.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, was an avid football watcher and enjoyed his quiet time with his ever-abiding faith in his Lord, Jesus Christ.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three brothers, John Phillip Wheeler and Eric Lamont Wheeler of Washington, and the Reverend Joseph (Lisa) Wheeler of Houston; and a sister, Cynthia Arlene Wheeler Ellis of Canonsburg.
Deceased is his stepfather, Charles Roland Lacks.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 8, with the Reverend Joseph Wheeler officiating. Interment will be private.
