Edna P. Bowers Russell, 91, of Finleyville, died Wednesday April 7, 2021, at Jefferson Hospital.
She was born August 20, 1929, in Gastonville, a daughter of Michael F. Sr. and Edna Foster Garry.
Edna was retired as a secretary for former District Magistrate James Ellis in Peters Township.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and a life member of the Hackett Club.
Surviving are her son, Joseph Bowers (Michele) of Finleyville; a daughter, Deborah Trickett (Richard) of London England; a sister, Bertha Mae Leach of Finleyville; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Michael Jr., John “Jack” and James Garry.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Private interment will be held in Finleyville Cemetery.
