Donald F. Yeager
Donald F. Yeager, 83, of Lower Saucon Township, formerly of Washington, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of the late Martha Kramer Yeager. Donald was born July 19, 1937, in New Kensington, to the late William and Emma Kopp Yeager.
He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during Peacetime. He spent most of his working life as a maintenance supervisor for Braeburn Steel, Molycorp and Cooper Power Systems, retiring in 1992 making candy for Clark Bar America.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed golfing, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his family. Donald was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Bethlehem.
He is survived by his children, Scott J. (Nicole) of Lower Saucon Township, Amy Heinle of Natrona Heights and Donald Mark; sisters Lois Watt of The Villages, Fla., and Jeannie Baumann (Bruce) of New Kensington; grandchildren Gretchen, Christopher, Ethan, Katya, Jarett, Mikayla and Sydney; and great-grandchildren Brianna and Brennan.
In addition to his wife and parents, Donald was predeceased by daughter Sandy Kwiatek; and siblings William, Constance Kiste, Richard and Bob.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery – Bethlehem.
