Thomas A. Sapolio

Thomas A. Sapolio, 81, of Finleyville, formerly of McMurray, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Joan Breinig; loving father of Thomas (Shelly Cochran) and Tracey Koutsogiani (John); brother of Linda Vietmeier and the late William Sapolio; brother-in-law of Verna Sapolio; and grandfather of Mitchell (Lisa), Jordyn, Alaina, Bailey, Brooke and Nicholas.

Tom was the owner and founder of the Crossroads Mower Center in McMurray for 60 years. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #2213 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #761 in McMurray. Tom was a licensed pilot.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (Route 88), Library. A mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. John XXIII Parish (St. Benedict the Abbot Church) in McMurray. Due to COVID restrictions, we ask that you wear masks and practice social distancing.
