Irma C. Tatano, 88, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 17, 2021, in McMurray Hills Manor, Peters Township.

Irma was born August 5, 1932, in Delmont, a daughter of the late Vincenzo Oddis and Evalina Tristani Oddis of Pietransieri, Italy.

She was raised in Muse and was a graduate of both Cecil High School and Penn Commercial Business School.

On June 26, 1954, Irma married Angelo J. Tatano Sr. and they were happily married for 52 years until his passing in June 2006.

She was co-owner and office manager of Refrigeration Care and Ice until her retirement.

Irma lived to serve her family and was always there to listen, offer advice and “preach” to whoever needed it. Irma was also an incredible cook and was famous for her meatballs. Feeding her family and friends to the brim brought her the utmost joy. A woman of great faith, you would often hear Irma remark, “It’s up to God.” She was a longtime member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, St. Patrick worship site.

(Holly) Tatano Jr. of Chartiers Township; dear grandchildren, Jessica (Sam) Henderson, Matt Woodhouse (Melissa Anderson), Erin Woodhouse (Austin Gaddy), Angela Shuback (Jackson Crowder), Nicolette Shuback (Chase Conklin), Angelo “A.J.” (Erin) Tatano, Alexa Tatano; two great-grandsons, Sammy and Joey Henderson; two step-great-grandchildren, Samantha and Rory Gaddy; former son-in-law, Rudy (Sharon) Woodhouse; and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are brothers, Chester and Alvo Oddis; and sister, Lydia Corey; as well as a brother and sister, Dario and Irlandina Oddis, who died prior to Irma’s birth.
