For his anger endures

but a moment;

in his favor is life:

weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh

in the morning.

– Psalm 30:5

Hilary Dunbar (nee Hilary Elizabeth Rose Dunbar) transitioned from Earth to Heaven Thursday, April 15, 2021. She is a daughter of Kenneth Sr. and Vicki Harvey Dunbar of McDonald. Her surviving big sister is Kendall Dunbar of Pittsburgh.

In the year 2004, she graduated from Fort Cherry High School, and subsequently attended classes at Robert Morris University. Hilary was a hard worker all of her life, having most recently been employed in the real estate industry. She took a lot of pride in a red Honda that she purchased with cash.

Hilary will be remembered as always seeking the light. Sometimes she found it – if even for brief moments; sometimes it found her. She was happiest when the light shone brightly on her face.

She loved to cook. She loved a good party. She loved her friends. She loved her family. She wrote deeply contemplative and beautiful poetry. Most especially, she gained a lot of love and joy in taking care of her godson, Christian.

Surviving are maternal grandparents Clay and Betty Harvey, and paternal grandparents, George and Rose Dunbar. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who will forever cherish her memory.

Ample make this bed.

Make this bed with awe;

In it wait till

judgment break

Excellent and fair.

– Emily Dickinson
