Lee Merman Perkins Jr.
Lee Merman Perkins Jr., 65, of Washington, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
He was born July 27, 1955, in Washington, a son of Lee Merman and Beverly Younger Perkins.
He worked as a self employed electrician. He enjoyed Star Trek, ancient history and especially mentoring and tutoring neighborhood children and volunteering at the Lemoyne Center.
Surviving are his son, Kalen Martin of Washington; sisters, Dorothy Perkins, Diane Perkins, both of Canonsburg, Lisa Kelley of Brownsville, Leesa Watkins of Philadelphia; several godchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta Perkins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. In the continued interest of public safety, facial coverings are required.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, in the funeral home, with Pastor Melanie Davis officiating.
Interment will be private.
