Arthur Bell
Arthur “Dennis” Bell, 74, of Canonsburg, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, in ManorCare, Peters Township.
Dennis was born November 11, 1946, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Art and Helen Bell.
He was a 1965 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. Dennis began his career in 1971 working as an athletic trainer for the Atlanta Braves, worked as a trainer for 23 years for Canon-McMillan School District, then finished his career at Nova Care in McMurray.
Dennis had a love for sports, especially baseball and hockey. He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of the St. Oscar Romero Parish.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Kathy Jicomelli Bell, whom he married July 24, 1971; sisters, Karen Bell and Felicia Polk of Florida; brother-in-law, Ross (Barb) Jicomelli of Canonsburg; many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews; and his beloved dogs, Rosie and Teddy.
Services will be private. A memorial mass for Dennis will be celebrated at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
