Frank A. Lucy Jr.
Frank A. “Poke” Lucy Jr., 87, of Bedford Heights, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Dorance Lucy for 67 years; loving father of Frank A. III (deceased) and Debra Ann Golden (deceased); dearest grandfather of Daniel and Jessica Fazio and Dean Fazio; great-grandfather of Hailey Fazio; dear brother of Robert Lucy and Shirley Brodnick and predeceased by five siblings; uncle and great-uncle of Wanda Roush and Denise Kramar and many other nieces and nephews.
Frank graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School in 1953, where he was the quarterback of the football team.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Greater Cleveland Slowpitch Softball Hall of Fame. He loved playing baseball and was a great fan of the Steelers.
Visitation and service were held at St. John Funeral Home, Bedford, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Frank Lucy.
