Robert F. Parkinson
Robert “Bobby” F. Parkinson, 63, died April 23, 2021.
He was born on December 16, 1957, a son of the late Merle and Raymond Parkinson.
Bobby is survived by his two brothers, Raymond (Mary Jane) Parkinson of Washington, and Stanley (Darlene) Parkinson of Massachusetts; five sisters, Joyce Wylie of Houston, Sharon Zets of Washington, Kathy and special brother-in-law Frank Ondash of Houston, Mary L. Crawford of Washington and Tracy (Jesse Bova) Parkinson of Washington; aunts, June Huseman and Patricia Denman; godchild Autumn Boskovich; many cousins, and nieces and nephews, the older ones grew up taking care of there Uncle Bobby.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers-in-law, William Wylie and Ted Zets.His parents and family took care of him at home until he went in to the nursing home. He was a patient at Premier Health Center for the last 15 years. He worked doing concrete work and home repair. Bobby was severely injured in 1984. He served in the Army as a Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bobbie Jo, his favorite Nurses Aide and Pompey for checking in on him during the Pandemic.
Bobby will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 7 p.m. time of service on Tuesday, April 27, in Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29 at The Washington Cemetery.
