Donna J. Philips

Donna J. Philips, 66, of Bentleyville, formerly of Daisytown, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021.

She was born February 25, 1955, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Frank and Eldred Staley Bodzer.

Mrs. Philips was a 1973 graduate of California Area High School where she was also later employed as a custodian, retiring after eight years of service.

Donna was a very active member of the Calvary Church of the Nazarene, Coal Center. She loved her church and was involved in most all of the church activities including playing the organ and piano and was the missionary president.

Her greatest joy was being a grandmother, lovingly known as Mamaw by her five grandchildren.

On May 18, 1974, she married George H. Philips of Bentleyville, who survives. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two children, Jason L. Philips (Carly) of Mt. Lebanon, and Amber S. Luketich (Mike) of Bentleyville; five grandchildren, Ethan, Benny and Delilah Luketich and Sophie and Lainey Philips; three sisters; one brother; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m., the time of services, Friday, April 30, in the Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 73 Promised Land Drive, Coal Center, PA 15423, with Pastor Rodney Johnson officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Calvary Church of the Nazarene at the above listed address.
