Dan Rugg Sr.
Dan Rugg Sr., 63, of Washington, died Monday, November 29, 2021, in his home.
He was born December 15, 1957, in Washington, the son of the late Aaron Rugg and Frances Rugg, of Washington.
Dan graduated from Trinity High School and made his living in maintenance and electrical work.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed camping. Family was always #1 and he loved his dogs.
Dan was a wonderful husband to Sandra Lee Byrne Rugg. They shared 43 years of marriage.
In addition to Sandra, he is survived by two sons, Daniel Rugg, Jr. (Lori Putran), of Meadowlands, and Jason Rugg (Amy), of Washington; daughter, Christina Marie Rugg-Signorini (Dino), of Washington; brothers, David Rugg, of Washington, and Donald Rugg, of Charleroi; sister, Debra Rugg, of Washington; and grandchildren, Abi Rugg, Craig Rugg, Kaytlynn Signorini, Aaron Rugg, Aryia Rugg, Gaige Rugg, Jynah Signorini, Jasmynn Rugg; and great-grandchild Daniel Rugg.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 2, with funeral services at noon Friday, December 3, with Pastor Joe Brown officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
