Christopher Walter Uveges, 41, of Rices Landing, died Friday, November 19, 2021, in Punta Gorda, Fla.

Christopher was born December 8, 1979, in Waynesburg, a son of Samuel Louis Uveges of Punta Gorda, and Betty Irene Dodds Uveges of Lake Worth, Fla.

Also surviving are two children, Anna Mae Uveges and Lauren Christa Uveges, both of Pitt Gas; a brother, Alex Samuel Uveges of Washington; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Christopher was a 1999 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School, where he wrestled, played baseball and football. He enjoyed boxing, skiing, snowboarding, hunting, fishing and roller skating. He also loved riding dirt bikes and quads.

Christopher enjoyed going for walks or hikes in the woods and mountain cycling, but above all he loved his daughters more than anything else in the world, and strived to give them a happy life.

In his younger years, Christopher did masonry and construction work.

He was one-of-a-kind, the kind of man that would go above and beyond to help a stranger in need. Christopher was a very humorous man and was always trying to put a smile on everyone’s face that was near. He was an extremely loving and selfless man who loved to tell stories and was very good at it. His stories will forever live on.

Family and friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 4, in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, 724-966-5100.

The service will be held at 3 p.m., with Pastor Frankie Menhart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home.
