Susan Amati
Susan Amati, 74, of Carroll Township, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at Canonsburg General Hospital in Canonsburg.
She was born in Pittsburgh, on May 15, 1947, the daughter of the late Milton L. Dick and the late Emma E. Skourn Dick.
Susan graduated from Langley High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania, where she attained her Master’s Degree in Special Education.
She was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and was a CCD teacher for many years at the former Transfiguration Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Beth Reichel on March 22, 2009; and a brother, Richard Dick.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her loving husband Louis Amati III; two sons, Lou Amati and Michael Amati; six grandchildren, Tayton, Teagan, Louie, Anthony, Andrew, and Case; a sister, Helen Salamon; a brother, Raymond Dick; and a son-in-law, Kevin Reichel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora. 724-379-6900.
Private family visitation and Mass of Christian Burial were held at the convenience of the family.
Entombment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
