Leroy K. “Kenny” Krause, 72, of Crucible, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
He was born March 22, 1949, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Leroy Kenneth Sr. and Anne Wolff Krause Hartley.
Kenny was a retired coal miner with CONSOL with 36 years of service.
He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
On July 27, 1968, he married Janice E. Maskil, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Dawn Krause of Crucible and Shalene (Chris) D’Antonio of Jefferson; four grandchildren, Shayne Krause, Hannah Kaczmarczyk, Noah (Kenzie) Kaczmarczyk, Leona D’Antonio; four great-grandchildren, Braxtyn, Brylee, Brody, Brexley Krause; a sister, Linda Krause.
Deceased in addition to his parents, is a brother, Charles Krause.
In following guidelines of wearing masks, friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 6, with Pastor Brian Carroll. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Rices Landing United Methodist Church, C/O Kathy Howard, Treasurer, 148 Carmichaels Street, Rices Landing, PA 15357.
