Joanne Thomas
Joanne Thomas passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born October 16, 1935, in Pittsburgh, to James and Estelle McCasky Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Thomas Sr., who passed away December 12, 2020.
She leaves behind six children, Susan (Matt) Pope of Port St. Lucie, Fla., David (Sheri) Thomas Jr. of San Clemente, Calif., Patricia (Nick) Muncie of Claysville, Daniel (Melissa Martin) Thomas of Washington, Dennis Thomas of Washington, and Diane Thomas also of Washington; 10 grandchildren, Davey Thomas, Jason (Kristina) Thomas, Robbie Thomas all of California, and Teasha (Rick) Owen of Post Falls, Idaho, Amanda Hall of West Alexander, Angela Terminato of Claysville, Danielle (Nate) Penn of Washington; 10 great-grandchildren, Knolan and, Rhett Owen, of Port Falls, Idaho, Samantha Huggins (Fiance Chris Palmer) of Washington, Alexis and Evan Hall of West Alexander, Addison Thomas of Upton Calif., Lilly Jenkins and Miley Sicilia both of Washington; also surviving are her stepchildren, Nicole (fiance, Chris Ritenour) Muncie of Muse, Donnie (fiance, Missy Czarina) Martin of West Alexander; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Nicholas Muncie, Leland Ritenour of Muse, Mason Martin of West Alexander, and Ethan Martin of Washington.
Joanne was an exceptional homemaker and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family.
