Tina Marie Sabatasse
Tina Marie Sabatasse, 53, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, in Washington, after a three-year battle with cancer.
Tina was born September 23, 1968, to Harry Sabatasse and Eva Jean Sabatasse in the Washington Hospital.
After graduating Burgettstown High School in 1986, she went on to attend Kent State University. Shortly thereafter, she began her career in cosmetics working for a number of years in the industry.
Tina was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her son and embraced every moment with him.
Tina was a fierce woman – holding fast to her beliefs, defending those she loved, and always seeking to better herself. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh and smile. Tina’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she spent here with us.
In 2000, she met Brian “Scott” McKinnon. Tina and Scott loved their frequent trips to Las Vegas and spending time with one another.
Tina was predeceased by her sister, Linda; brother, Vince; and father, Harry.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Jean; and son, Jalen.
There will not be a service.
In lieu of flowers / gifts, the family requests that donations be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, an organization Tina felt very strongly about.
