Douglas A. Connelly, 61, of Ellsworth, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 11, 2021 at home.

He was born December 13, 1959, in Charleroi, a son of Clyde and Carol Bruce Connelly of Ellsworth.

Doug worked for Ellsworth Borough, and was the supervisor for the street, water, and park departments.

He loved spending time with his family, was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Jennifer Williams Connelly; sons, Derek Connelly (Christy) of Alabama, and Dylan Connelly (Tiffany) of Amity; six grandchildren, Makayla, Sophia, Fiona, Alayna, Daymon and Hailey, and one expected in May 2022.

Deceased is a brother Carl Odlin Connelly, who passed away January 21, 2012.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life from 1 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Saint Katharine Drexel Social Hall, 208 Abromaitis Street, Bentleyville.
