James Ronald Bebout

James Ronald “B.B.” Bebout, 77, of Washington, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

He was born Thursday, July 20, 1944, in Waynesburg, a son of the late James Albert Bebout and Grace F. Doty Bebout.

James was a resident of Greene County for most of his life.

He was a member of the Fairall United Methodist Church. Mr. Bebout was a member of the Elks Lodge #757, and the Moose Lodge #461, both of Waynesburg. He was a coal miner, and in his later years owned and operated the Terrace Lounge in Waynesburg.

He is survived by his companion, Brenda Coleman, of Washington, three daughters, Jackie (John Bane) Bebout, of Iowa, Angela (Jeff) Rhodes, of Waynesburg, and Darlene Bebout, of Uniontown; three grandchildren, Hunter Bebout, Dylan (Brittniy) Rhodes, and Brittany (Jesse) Hall; one brother, Gary Bebout of West Virginia; two nieces, Valerie Clark and Renee Morris; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services at this time. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.

Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner / Director, 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
