Gene Paul Jackson

Gene Paul Jackson, 86, of Finleyville, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in Transitions Healthcare of Washington.

He was born December 11, 1935, in Finleyville, a son of the late Ernest and Ada Winston Jackson.

Gene Paul was retired as a crane operator with Ryerson Steel in Carnegie. He severed in the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Finleyville.

Surviving are two sons, Michael (Alia) Jackson, of North Versailles, and Curtis Jackson, of Suwanee, Ga.; daughter, Patricia Jean Cook, of Pleasant Hills; two granddaughters, Sadie and Emma; and two nieces; Deborah and Davina.

Deceased are his wife, Norma Jean Jackson; and brother, William Jackson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, Supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville.

Funeral services and interment in Finleyville Cemetery will be private.

Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
